1a. out of mind 这个短语作“忘怀”讲， out of one's （ right ） mind 这个短语作“头脑不清”讲（参见词条 P.640 和 P.641 ），不容混淆。
例如：

She must be out of her mind, to act in that way. 她举止乖戾，一定是发疯了。

The wounded soldier has got out of his mind. 这个伤病员已神志不清啦。
1b. 如果用于非人称结构， out of one's （ right ） mind 这个短语也可以作“忘却”讲。
