| 释义 | 1．consult him 是“向他请教”或“问他”，consult with him 是“跟他商量”。书是不会说话的，所以通常说 consult the book, consult with the book（把书看作人）比较少见。 2．不可说 consult his opinion，该说 consult him。 3．“在某词典里查某词”该说 consult the dictionary，不该说 consult the word。但是说“在词典里查某词，根据那个词研究另一个词”便可以用 consult the word 来表达。例如：If you consult that word, you will understand this one. 4．consulting physician 是“顾问医生”，consulting engineer 是“顾问工程师”，都是被人 consult 的，不是 consult 别人的。 |
