| 释义 | 1．feel 可以用作系动词，后面接表语，如 feel cold, feel proud 和 feel sure。也可以用作使役动词，后面接宾语和表语，如 He felt himself guilty 和 She felt it an honour that we should care for her。有时在宾语后面接 to be。例如：He felt himself to be guilty. 在用作系动词的时候，feel 有时作“使人有某种感觉”解，如 The air feels cold 和 How does it feel to be in love? （恋爱使人有怎样的感觉？） 2．feel 的宾语后面的不定式习惯省去 to。例如：I felt someone touch me on the shoulder. 把 touch 改作 touching 也可以。 3．说到心理上的认识，feel 后面通常接以 that 引导的从句，不接宾语和不定式，如通常说 I feel that the picture fully agrees with the original，不说 I feel the picture fully agree with the original。但假使那不定式是 be，尽可以用这结构，to 不可省。例如：I feel the picture to be in full agreement with the original. 4．在用作“触、摸”解的时候，feel 在美国往往在后面加上 of。例如：I felt of the pocket to see if the handkerchief was there. 在英国没有 of。 5．feel for 和 feel with 都作“同情”解。 6．feel like...ing 通常作“想要……”解，如 I feel like singing 和 I feel like weeping。有时作“觉得好像……”解。例如：Landing on those shores, one feels like having entered into a great silence. 注意 like 是形容词，后面省去介词 to，不是动词。 7．feel like 可以作“觉得好像是……”解，如 I feel like a boy on his first day of school。也可以作“想要……”解，如 I feel like a walk。下面的对话当然是笑话： Husband: I feel like a pork pie tonight. Wife: What a strange thing to say!
