| 释义 | 1．let 的宾语后面的不定式没有 to。例如：I'll let him do it. 假使把 let 用在被动语态里，那不定式有时有 to，有时没有 to。例如：He will be let (to) do it. 但不论用 to 或不用 to，这种句子很少见，通常改用 allow。例如：He will be allowed to do it. 但 let fall（无意中说出），let go（释放）和 let slip（错过）三种表达方式用在被动语态里不算不普通，那不定式没有 to。例如： A few hints were let fall by the girl. The prisoners were soon let go. Don't let's try again. Let's don't try again. 第二句比第一句多些恳求的意味，第三句不合语法（don't 不是不定式），不算正当。 5．说房屋或田地的“出租”通常用 to let，不用 to be let。例如：This house is to let. 但说“不出租”用 not to let 和 not to be let 都普通。说“出租或出卖”，“出卖或出租”，“出卖而不出租”，“出租而不出卖”等用 to be let 而不用 to let，如 This house is to be let or sold 和 This house is to be let, not to be sold。 6．说“出租（房屋或田地）”通常用 let，不用 let out，说“出租（车、马、服装等）”通常用 let out，不用 let。 7．let go（释放）和 let go of 意思相同。例如：He refused to let go (of) the rope. |
