1a. start doing sth 这个短语动词所表达的动作是经常的，而 start to do sth 这个短语动词所表达的动作则是偶然的。
例如：
You should start saving money now. 你现在就该开始储蓄了。（要经常储蓄）
It starts to rain. 下雨了。（难得下雨）
比较：
It starts raining. 仍在下雨。（继续在下）
It starts to rain. 下雨了。（停了之后又下）
1b. 作“从事”讲， start 这个动词只能搭用动名词或名词，不能搭用不定式短语。
例如：
