动词 wear 既可作“经穿”讲，又可作“不耐穿”讲，只有搭配了 well 这个副词，才能作“经穿”讲，没有“不耐穿”的含义（参见词目 857 ）。
例如：

A cloth like this will not wear. 这种布不耐穿。（又可作“不易磨损”讲。）
