apt(likely) |
A man apt to promise is apt to forget. The diplomatic policy of that country is likely to change. I am apt to catch cold if I go out without my overcoat. (经常这样,不是可能这 样,所以无需加饰时间状语) I shall be likely to catch cold if I go out tonight without my overcoat.
