2. bargain for的宾语多为具体的物品，如a car, a desk等，不可接price等条款性抽象名词；而bargain about〔over〕的宾语多为price等条款性抽象名词，较少接具体名词。例如：
　The women spend hours in the market, bargaining about the goods.　女人们在市场上逛了几小时，对商品讨价还价。
　如果把about换成for，则意为“对要买的商品讨价还价”。
