这两个定语形容词有时可以通用，有时则不一定能通用（参见词目 83 和 84 ）。试举例来说明。
例如：
You mustn't sing another ／ different tune. 你不许变卦。
（两者可以通用）
That cat has a different tail. 那只猫有条与众不同的尾巴。（不说… another tail ）
Please show me another one. 请另拿一个给我看看。（不说… a different one ）
