这两个短语动词几乎是同义，都作“满意”或“称心”讲。有时并可通用；如果是对人而言，则要使用 be pleased with ，不用 be pleased at （参见词条 P.794 ）。
例如：
The teacher of English was pleased at/with my pronunciation. 英语老师满意我的发音。
They were pleased at/with what he did. 他们对于他干的事感到满意。
比较：
The teacher of English was pleased at/with my pronunci-ation. 英语老师满意我的发音。
The teacher of English was pleased with me in my pronuncia-tion. 英语老师因我的发音，向我表示满意。
