Will you please let me know. 第一句比第二句普通得多，第二句是旧式，现在只有“老派”的人用它。第一句和第二句都不及第三句客气。第四句的末尾用句号，因为全句在语法上虽然是疑问句而在作用上等于请求句，所以用句号也可以。第三句和第四句里的 please 后面加上 to 也可以，但现在一般不用 to。 Please let me know 的强势式是Do please let me know。 2．决不可用 Please you...，如不可说 Please you let me know，该把 you 删去。Please you...在 15 和 16 世纪里是用的，但现在绝对不可用。 3．关于 Please kindly...，参见 kindly 2 4．说“请不要……”用 Please don't..., Please do not..., Please not to...和 Don't please...都可以，似乎第四种表达方式最不普通。 5．下面各句里 please 后面的不定式有 to 或没有 to 都可以： We ask you to please (to) send the goods immediately. May I take this chair(,) please? Please(,) can you tell me more? Can you tell me more(,) please? Don't(,) please(,) come here. If so, may we(,) please(,) have an explanation?
