【答】 no longer与no more都作“不再”、“再也不”(for no further period of time)解。有的英语参考书用no longer与no more的语义不同来解答上道题，这是不正确的。上道题之所以只能选D，而不能选B，仅仅是因为no longer与no more在句中的位置不同。no more一般位于句尾或句首，而no longer则可用于实义动词之前，助动词或连系动词之后，或者位于句尾：
