【答】 He is strange to me≈He is a stranger t0 me.我不认识他。请注意，strange这个形容词在不同的搭配里有不同的译法。sb.或sth.(A) is strange to sb.(B)可译为“B不认识(不熟悉)A”。但sb.(A)is strange to sth.(B)则可译为“A不熟悉B”、“A对B生疏”。请看下面的实例：

1.This area is strange to me.(FWF)

我不熟悉这个地区。

2.The village boy was strange to the city life.(OSD)

这个农村孩子对城市生活很陌生。

3.I’m still strange to the customs here.(Chambers)
