| 释义 | 1．care 用作“忧愁”解用单数形式或复数形式都可以，用作“小心”解只可用单数形式。 2．take care of 在英国只作“当心保护”解，它的宾语总是该被保护的东西，如 Take care of your health 和 We must take care of public property。在美国往往用作“提防”或“对付”解。例如：You must take care of all possible obstacles 和 Can he take care of this problem?有时竟然有“杀掉”的意思。例如：They had many snakes to take care of in laying out the garden. 3．care of 或 in care of 作“由……收下保管而转给他人”解，如 I wrote to Mr Williams (in) care of Mr Cooke（我写信给 Williams 先生，是请 Cooke 先生转交的），在信封上习惯写作 c/o 或。例如： Mr A.
