 答者说be seated是指“被别人安排好座位”的意思，难道在下面的句子里be seated也是被安排好座位的意思吗?

 【答】 英语里，某些表示姿势的动词，如sit，stand，seat，它们的be+过去分词的结构并不是被动语态，而是从古英语遗留下来的一种表示状态或结果的形式，毫无被动含义。因此，我们不能说sit是“自己坐”，be seated是“被安排坐”。请看下面的实例：
