【答】 在tell about和talk about等结构中，有时可以见到用of代替about的情形。tell about与tell of，talk about与talk of在词义上并没有什么区别，但是tell of与talk of用得较少，并且大都用在书面语体中。例如：

我向他谈到过读书的乐趣。

2. The sailor told of his many great adventures. (MD)
