- A sudden thought struck me.
- Inspiration struck me in the shower.
- The funny side of the situation struck me afterwards.
- Unaccountably something he had read years earlier came to his mind again.
- A great sense of peacefulness came over me, impossible to describe in words.
- It crossed his mind that he was getting overtired.
- Then the realization came to him that there might be a choice, after all.
- How did she strike you?
- She struck Paul as lazy.
- It strikes me as odd.
- Only later it struck me as unusual.
- It doesn't strike me as being the best course of action.
- We can eat here and meet them later, how does that strike you?
- I wasn't very struck with (American English "by") his colleague.
- I'll strike a deal with them.
- It's not easy to strike a balance between too much and too little freedom.
- strike it lucky交上好运
- strike it rich发财。
- The most striking feature of the report is...
- She lives within striking distance of London.
