a) 前一种(“自己明白”)通常用表示延续状态的 to be clear,或者后面加 about, as to, on 等介词短语或 that, wh- 之类的从句。 - I'm not entirely clear.
- He was not clear on/ about the conclusion.
- She is not at all clear what is going on. = She is not at all clear as to what is going on. = She is not at all clear about what is going on.
- Let's be quite clear.
- I am clear in my own mind that I should give up the plan.
- Though the occupants in 1867 would have been quite clear as to who was the tyrant in their lives, the more real monster, to an age like ours, would beyond doubt have been the enormous kitchen range...
例如一份宗教宣传材料上说: - Whether you choose to believe in God and Jesus Christ or not is up to you. But after tonight you can no longer say, "I can't believe in God because He hasn't made Himself clear to me." He has made Himself clear; He's made Himself crystal clear.
又例如: - No problem. You've made yourself clear.
