　plenty　通常用在好的方面，所以一般认为plenty of troubles（许多麻烦）; plenty of difficulties（许多困难）等是不合英语习惯的。但近年来plenty of errors, plenty of trouble等说法似乎逐渐多了起来。

　plenty　作副词时常用于口语，后面常有enough与之呼应，但还是用quite较好。在美式英语中，尤其在口语中， plenty表示程度时有时意为very，但最好换用very或其他副词。例如：
