词组 | leap |
释义 | leap Leaped and leapt are interchangeable both as the past tense ("He leaped/leapt over the ditch") and past participle ("The song has leaped/leapt to the top of the charts") of leap. Leapt is the more common choice in British English. Y. Times Book Rev., 3 Oct. 1976 • ... Upshaw leapt in the air (Currently, Upshaw denies this version, claiming that he leaped in the air on mere whim ... ) —Melvin Durslag, TV Guide, 15 June 1973 |
