【问】 continual与continuous有什么区别?
 【答】 continual可译为“连续的”、“不断的”、“频繁的”，但中间可能有短暂的间断(going on
 all the time without stopping，or with only short breaks)：
 1. Aren’t you tired of this continual rain?
 对于这不停的雨你不觉得厌烦吗?
 2. He hates these continual arguments with his wife.
 他讨厌这样无休止地跟妻子争论。
 continual常用于指不好的事，例如continual interruptions(arguments，hammering)。
 continuous则是指“(无间断地)连续的”(going on without a break)：
 1. The brain needs a continuous supply of blood.
 大脑需要不断的供给血液。
 2.This continuous hot weather is oppressive.
 这连续的热天气是很难忍受的。
 3. A continuous steel making process is now being developed.
 现在已发明了一种连续炼钢法。
 continually与continuously也具有上述区别：
 1. Bill is continually working late at the office. (CGEL)
 比尔总是连续地在办公室工作到很晚。
 2. He is continually complaining about the noise.
 他老是不断地抱怨有吵闹声。
 3. He continually interrupted me by asking irrelevant questions.
 他接二连三地提出无关紧要的问题来打扰我。
 4. He spoke continuously for three hours without showing any sign of fatigue.他一口气讲了三个钟头，一点也没有疲倦的样子。
