试题要求将those ones改为those。难道绝对不可以说those ones吗?

【答】 在美国英语中，一般不说these ones，those ones，而只说these，those。但是，在英国英语中有时也能见到these ones，those ones的用法，见one/ones。但是，当ones之前有定语时，则无论在美国英语或英国英语中ones都是绝不可省略的：

“May I help you with some shoes，sir?”

“Yes，I’d like to try on those brown ones. ”(TOEFL，75.9)

“先生，我可以帮你选一些鞋吗?”

“可以，我喜欢试一试那双褐色的”。
