　［析］ pretend作为及物动词可以接动词不定式，但不可以接动名词作宾语。
2. 他母亲进来时，他假装在做作业。

　［正］ When his mother came in, he pretended to be doing his homework.
　［析］ pretend后的不定式有时须用进行或完成时态来表达“假装正在做”或“假装已做了…”。

　pretend　还可用作形容词，表示“假装的，想象的，假想的”，用于非正式或儿语中。如： a pretend monster装扮的怪物；That's my pretend friend.那是我假想的朋友。
