 句中的一般过去时watched是否应改为现在完成时has watched?
 【答】 你完全误解了recently的用法。你之所以产生这样的误解，是因为我国出版的英汉词典大都没有分清recently的两种含义及其两种用法。recently既可用来表示时间的延续(timeduration)，也可用来表示时间位置(time position)。recently在前一用法中与现在完成时连用，表示“过去不久到现在的一段时间”(近来);而在后一用法中与一般过去时连用，表示不久前的一个时间位置(“最近”、“近日”、“不久前”)。下面我们用实例来解释这一点。
 A.表示时间延续(从过去不久延续到现在的一段时间)：
 1. Have you seen Anne recently? (JED)
 你近来看见安妮了吗?
 2. I have not been sleeping well recently. (CGEL)
 我近来睡眠一直不好。
 3. His visits used to be rare，but recently he has been here quite a lot. (CGEL)
 过去他很少来这里，但是最近他来这儿好多次了。
 B.表示时间位置(最近，近日，不久前)：
 1. Dreams of finding lost treasure almost came true recently. (New Concept English，Book2，L.55)
 找到丢失的宝物的梦想不久前差点变成了现实。
 2. My friend，Herbert，has always been fat，but things got so bad recently that he decidedto go on a diet. (New Concept English，Book 2，L. 51)
 我的朋友赫伯特一直很胖，但最近情况非常糟糕，所以他决定减食。
