 【答】 rouse的原义是“唤醒某人”，由此产生的比喻义为“引起、唤起、激起”，如rouse one'sanger (spirits，energies)，rouse enthusiasm (curiosity，interest，suspicion)。还要记住，rouse既可作及物动词，也可作不及物动词：
