【答】 take care of的最常见意义是“照看”、“照料”、“照顾”，即of的宾语是“被保护、关心的对象”。但是，除此之外，take care of还有许多含义，例如“负责”(take the responsibility for)、“处理”、“对付”(deal with)、“打”(beat)、“杀死”(kill)。在这里of的宾语不是“被保护、关心的对象”，恰恰相反，而是“处理、清除、伤害、杀害的对象”。
