【答】 R. Quirk等人曾明确指出，hope，bet，see (to it)等动词后的宾语从句通常使用一般现在时来表示将来时间(见hope，see(to it)：

I bet I win.(OSD)

我肯定会取得胜利。

但是hope，bet，see(to it)等动词之后的宾语从句也可以使用一般将来时：

1. I bet it will rain tomorrow. (LDCE)

明天一定会下雨。

2. I will bet that he will be elected.

我断定他会当选。

3. I bet he’ll be late.

我敢说他一定会迟到。
