 【答】 当表示空间高度或位置时，要使用副词high：
 1. He climbed high up the mountain. (MD)
 他高高地向山上攀登。
 2. They held high the banner of revolutionary struggle. (Gallacher)
 他们高高举起革命斗争的旗帜。
 当表示“很高的程度(上)”时，或者用于比喻义时，要使用副词highly：
