 【答】 Is he at home?是指“他在家吗?”例如，Is Master Bobby at home? I heard his cough.
 (Show)有时候则是指“会客”，例如，He is in，but is not at home.(他在家，但是不会客。)If hetelephones，say I'm not at home to visitors till 10.(如果他来电话，告诉他我10点以前不会客。)
 Is he home? 则是表示“他(下班后或外出后)回家了吗?”。在be home，go home，comehome，get home，return home，arrive home这些短语中，home是副词，它表示方向或目的地
 (destination)，而不是表示位置。
 1. I'm only just home from Oxford.
 我刚从牛津大学回家。
 2. I shall be home around five o'clock. (Wood)
 我大约5点钟回家。
 3. Ruth and her family were home again. (London)
 露丝和她全家人又回家来了。
 因此不难看出，I'm going to home tonight.应改为I'm going home tonight.(参见home)但是，在美国英语中，有时也用home来表达at home (在家)的意思，即用来表示位置，而不是表示方向(回家)，尽管有人反对这种用法：
