【问】 would care to与would like to 都作“喜欢”解，不知它们在用法上有无区别?

【答】 would care一般只用于疑问句和否定句，不用于肯定句。但是，would like却不受此限制：

1. Would you care to come and have something with me? (Galsworthy)

你愿意过来跟我一起吃点东西吗?

2. I wouldn’t care to live on the tenth floor. (PEG)

我不喜欢住在第十层楼。

3. The Committee would like to see you again. (Cronin)

委员会希望再次接见你。

4. Miss Ramsden would not like to speak about it before me. (Shaw)
